Do You Ever Feel Overworked, Pressed for Time, and Wish You Could Work Less and Grow Your Business Faster?
Does Your Business Ever Bog You Down with Menial Tasks and Leave You Reacting to Issues Without Enough Time to Focus on Strategic Plans and Activities?
Maybe you can relate… I was once working 60 to 70 hours a week or more in my business. While the business was a success, I was tired, and never had enough time. There were fires to put out, someone with a crisis, and decisions that seemed only I could make.
I was sure that growing my business meant piling more on my plate and I was already spread too thin… while I believed I was growing my business, the fact is I was subconsciously inhibiting the growth.
You think working more hours will get you out of this reactionary cycle.
The Cleopatra Effect
In more than 25 years of buying, selling, and brokering businesses, I know that one of the prevalent reasons business owners want to sell is ‘burnout.’
Entrepereneurs are commonly great at having ideas, starting and building great businesses. Most however, are not wired to be effective managers. These owners often eventually work themselves into management positions.
When you are managing your business, giving your all, you might have defaulted to a reactive role.
In this state, the idea of growing your business more can seem like… ‘more work.’
I have met plenty of business owners that overworked themselves until they became subconsciously averse to growth!
The Downstream Trap
The large majority of small business owners and entrepreneurs evolve to living in a ‘reactive’ cycle. Owners and participating stakeholders work downstream of their root issues.
They work tirelessly to solve the onslaught of problems that the current keeps washing towards them. You need strategy and systems that get you out of the water to walk upstream and solve or stop the problems where they begin.
Entreprenaurs and business owners reach a tipping point when dealing with the perpetual wave of issues has depleted their passion for the business… they suffer burnout.
I have personally bought dozens of businesses in this situation. The owners just wanted out. While successful, they perceived the business as a problem. I am here to tell you this is a seller problem, not a business problem.
The Blitzar Collaborative
When I bought a businesss my team and I went to work implementing my “Upstream” systems and strategies. This would resovle the reactive cycles, minimize management, and surging profit and cashflow.
I oversaw each business in only one hour per week of my time, while growing much faster than the previous owners.
After you have built a profitable business and you reach the third stage of ‘Growth’, a strategic position is required:
Adapting new behaviors, different skills and a new mindset can have you working less and making and living more.
My growth systems, processes, and formulas will automate your business and divert your energy to a stress free strategic path.
I wanted to know… and I bet you do too.
As a business broker, advisor, buyer, and valuation expert for several decades, I was visiting and evaluating businesses on a daily basis.
As you are might be familiar, I discovered some business owners were working like crazy for 50, 60 or more hours a week. Then I would visit a business where the owner was working much fewer hours, (25 hours or less a week) and making as much or often much more than their overworked counterparts and often competitors.
I investigated businesses: due diligence on hierachys, employee roles and histories, contractors, processes, books, tax returns, systems, owner behaviors and habits, hiring, delegating, bank records, court records, managment, marketing metrics, data, etc. I compiled libraries of information and data.
What I learned:
99.8% of business owners did not have an accurate job description (most had none at all.) They started a business and did whatever was needed to survive and hopefully grow. Nothing wrong with that… however, while the business had greatly changed, their roles had not. Years into the business these owners were often performing menial tasks, making outdated (and often) costly economic decisions, and suffering from WRECK (Working at a Reduced Effectiveness Capacity Kinetic).
Every business that succeeds experiences four to five distinct stages. At each epoch the business needs change and requires a new owner role. Yet few business owners change for the new roles… very few. -> Keep in mind that 92% of all businesses end in failure… and of the remaining that succeed, most all could have done even better.
After you have built a profitable business and you reach the third stage ‘Growth’, a strategic position is required:
You need to adapt; new behaviors, different skills and a new mindset.
Your business needs the best systems, processes, and formulas available.
And you should implementing systems that reduce your administrative and management work load.
The average small business owner is overworking by as much as 224% and under performing at less than 30% of their TRUE strategic capacity.
I gathered all that information and studied the systems, formulas, and processes these highly successful businesses had in place. I combined some, improved others, and implemented some of my own systems.
You have probably heard of ROI (Return On Investment). But what about the business owner’s ROE? Every business owner needs to know their ROE (Return On Effort) ratio yet I have not met one that does.
I developed the Business Owner ROE formula and will show you how to measure yours. ROE taught me the energy metric of business. The ROE strategy will show you how to reverse the scales of work versus income. Work less make more!
To test my program I bought a business with the intention of applying all these systems, formulas, and processes. Within weeks I was working less than 10 hours a week at the business and receiving a full time income. I doubled the business profit and less than a year later I sold the same business for more than twice what I had paid!
Since Then I Have Owned Businesses That Paid as Much as $300,000 A Year Working Only Two Hours A Week!
So for the next two decades I bought and sold privately held businesses and developed and sold franchises at a profit.
You could say I ‘flipped’ businesses… businesses of all types. This was not a solo effort, I had assembled a skilled and versatile team including managers, accountants, agents, attorneys, etc.
I Discovered In Most Every Case, When Using My Formulas You Can Grow Faster and Make More By Working Less!
In each business I implemented my systems and processes and developed ‘growth versus effort’ algorithms and metrics. I applied my systems and processes to a myriad of industries including accounting firms, fabricators, health practices, manufacturing, marketing agencies, sales, technology based, service based, professional practices, and more.
As you can probably imagine, flipping small businesses is not for the faint of heart or inexperienced. The goal was to at least double the value of each business in 12 months or less. We did this successfully and repeatedly on an unmatched scale.
Increasing the value of a business 2x, 3x or more was not about increasing the assets of the business. We would double or triple cash flow and that had to reflect in profit. While I have failed at start up businesses more than once, we were 100% successful flipping businesses.
All this is not to blow my own horn but to illustrate the value of what you are about to receive.
In fact, I seldom have considered myself the smartest person in a room, frequently even when there is only one other person in the room!
I merely had the opportunity to run into many more walls to find the doors in business than most people. Being involved in more than 2000 business transactions and owning more than 100 small businesses has empowered me with an extensively broad range of in depth business experience.
I am sharing my knowledge and experience with you. Information that has unparalleled value for you.
